Extraction and Visualization of global and coastal sea level projections and ocean tides
Extract and visualize model output of global and coastal sea level projections and ocean tides with the LAS tool. Alternatively, you can get access and download the datasets via HTTP/OPeNDAP directly from the Integrated Climate Data Center (ICDC), University of Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany:
- Global sea level projections used for the figures at the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC-AR5);
- Coastal sea level projections, used in the analyses and figures of the journal article “Coastal sea level changes, observed and projected during the 20th and 21st century” (Carson et al., 2016);
- Ocean tides, i.e. astronomical semidiurnal and diurnal tides, from the high-resolution data-assimilative HAMTIDE model (Taguchi et al., 2014).
Moreover, sea level datasets are also included in the Ocean Synthesis Directory and Ocean Reanalysis Intercomparison project (ORA-IP) accessible via the ICDC, which provides further resources and a wide range of other variables for the ocean, sea ice and snow, atmosphere, land, climate indices as well as society datasets.
Alternatively, if you would like to provide any dataset for extraction and visualitation with the LAS tool you may contact directly the ICDC or remon.sadikni(at)uni-hamburg.de.
